We are a private practice medical group based in Peoria, Illinois. Established in 2009, we specialize in the assessment, therapies andmanagement of spine painandorthopedic disorders.

After significant growth recently we are seeking toadd a Physician Assistant to our group to build out our integratedcare program and specializing in spine & pain conditions.

What You Will Be Doing

-Performs comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations

-Interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests

-Interprets and correlates subjective and objective data to formulate a differential diagnosis and establish a working diagnosis

-Formulates a treatment plan for orthopaedic conditions within their scope of practice

-Exercises judgment on conditions requiring consultation, referral or evaluation by the health care professionals

-Formulates and implements treatment and therapeutic plans for hospitalized

What You Need for this Position

-Masters from a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nursing program.

-The ability to work in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, mid-level providers and ambulatory staff.

-A strong desire to work in the orthopedic setting.

-The analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledge.

-Communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, and well-developed writing skills.
