This position is part of our Process Engineering team and will support critical processes and/or equipment that are line-down and may require overtime and/or modifications to standard work schedules to achieve this.
This person will assist Process Engineering in the following: -Supporting production with day to day quick responses to routine issues with production/process equipment -Perform preventive maintenance and verifications on production equipment/processes -Faultfinding of any equipment repairs as required -Developing capabilities and capacities for new products -Developing manufacturable products and controllable processes for NPI -Drive improvements in a sustaining role -Provide technical knowledge for special cross-functional teams and committee -Drive and implement lean practices -Developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation
You must have a quality focus and should exhibit good written and verbal communication skills as well as proficiency with basic computer software including Microsoft Office. CAD experience would be beneficial.
Three years' experience is needed in manufacturing and hands-on experience with process equipment. An Associate's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent as well as electrical fault finding experience would be beneficial.
This role will also require the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
