Job Summary:

Designs, develops, and maintains business application solutions by creating new or modifying existing software applications. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate, enhance, and/or optimize business functions using Microsoft C# .Net, SQL Server, and Microsoft Web Technologies.


• Design and develop object-oriented web and desktop applications using relational databases in a Microsoft C# .Net environment

• Design and develop data models and relational databases to store application data

• Advanced SQL Services Reporting Services creation and customization

• Leverage source control software to ensure best practices for code check out and change tracking

• Quality Assurance and Testing of application software

• Creating use cases and develop functional documentation for projects and system enhancements included detailed training materials

• Work with various inventory and pricing models to create custom applications

• Adherence to internal coding standards, works to redefine standards as necessary

Required Skills:

• 3+ years object oriented programming experience using Microsoft technologies such as: Visual Studio, C# 4.6 , ASP.NET, ADO.NET, LINQ and SQL Server 2012+

• 3+ years’ experience in defining and analyzing business requirements, process modeling, functional systems design or configuration and/or acceptance testing

• Experience with code source control software: Source Safe, MS Team Foundation, Subversion

• Window Presentation Foundation (WPF) programming experience

• Universal Windows Platform (UWP) programming experience

• Ability to work independently and solve problems

• Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills

• Ability to learn on the fly, to evolve with changes in technology

• Experience working within/adhering to formal development methodologies

• Strong Microsoft Windows and Office skills including: Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is highly preferred

• Familiar with Autodesk products - AutoCAD

• 3D Programming - Unity
