Description:

Purpose:Provides the resource to establish and manage the process to plan strategic inventory to align KAC EDT Parts inventories with machine population to provide best in class availability (coverage) balanced with optimum supply chain costs. This position directs the process between all supply chain stakeholders to provide appropriate customer support. Provides the resource based on technical characteristics & market intelligence to ensure proper parts coverage to include new product introduction (NPI) and machines with increasing population.Key Responsibilities:1. Ensure availability of service parts to support all products released to the market. The goal is 100% availability of the precedence/RPL (recommended parts list) by delivery date of the first machine.2. Utilize EQP data to monitor population and service meter readings (SMR) to establish stocking inventory depth for early and mid-life cycle analysis. 3. Maintain a fill rate of 80%+ for all EDT parts to support distributor network.4. Review new part numbers set up daily and make initial stocking decisions.5. Establish and maintain key metrics to measure results and to maintain process within control limits.6. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Materials Management & Allocation Manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Science degree in Materials, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations or equivalent work experience 2. Working knowledge of Materials Management processes, including forecasting, inventory planning, DRP and Distribution 3. Extreme sense of urgency, who is results oriented with a bias for action4. Change agent that embraces personal accountability5. Professional PC skills in Excel, Access, Power Point, and Parts Database systems (PIPS) and related mainframe applications6. Professional written and oral communication skills
