Job Description:

Candidate Responsibilities

Tuning grade control products to get optimum performance -Development of test plans and test estimates -Execution and documentation of functional bench tests and on-machine tests -Communication of test results -Trouble-shooting complex problems on bench setups and on machines -Conducting machine test set-ups and tear-downs -Assistance with customer support and training

Typical Day

Support Grade Control test set-ups and tear-downs on earthmoving machines, including installation of sensors, brackets, displays, and wiring. Execute and document bench tests and on-machine tests for Grade Control products. Analyze data and generate reports that document significant results from testing on Grade Control products, including but not limited to also making recommendations for design improvement based on analysis observations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor''s dregree in Engineering or Surveying required 2 year degree in Surveying will also be accepted. 5+ years

Technical Skills

GPS/Satellite/Antenna experience a plus -Telamatic experience a plus -Experience in control systems development for earthmoving or paving machines -Experience in using advanced features of client or similar -Experience in software or system testing -Experience with electrical systems, hydraulic systems or control systems -Experience with product development projects and processes at the machine, system or sub-system level -Experience or knowledge in the field of surveying -Previous knowledge of CAN or other data link communications -Experience with CANalyzer/ CANape or other data acquisition software -Demonstrated hands on experience with Matlab or similar.

Soft Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with a global team -Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude as well as manual dexterity to work in bench test and machine test environments. -Desire to learn -Willing to assist team when needed
