This program provides the foundation for further success of Caterpillar's engineers, technologist and technical professionals.Caterpillar's Operations Leadership Track is a 3 year development program that enables candidates to move throughout a variety of assignments in manufacturing planning and engineering, first line operations supervision, purchasing, logistics, quality, facilities engineering, thus gaining a broad-based understanding of manufacturing and operations. The LTDP's will move through 3 or more multi-functional assignments to provide a broader base of experience.After approximately 12 months in each assignment, the LTDP will be given increasingly more difficult assignments and be moved to the next level of the program.Professionals within the program must be willing to travel and relocate domestically, upon hire and during the duration of their participation within the program (minimum of 3 years).Applicants will be considered for positions throughout the United States.Thousands of Caterpillar employees come into work every day.
