JOB TITLE: IT Support Technician

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports directly to the IT Director.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:- Manage all tickets with first attempt troubleshooting and escalating when needed- Manage add/remove changes from different software systems- Improve or create processes to increase efficiency- Professional and personable communication with staff Show ability to communicate and train technical concepts to technical and non-technical staff- Document work in a clear and effective manner- Research emerging technologies and the feasibility of system enhancements through new software or automation.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:- 1-3 years experience in IT support environment- Experience with: Microsoft Windows Microsoft Office Hardware support Basic network troubleshooting Office 365 Firewalls Exchange Online Helpdesk workflows Mobile devices- CompTIA A+ Certification- CompTIA Net+ Certification- Bonuses experience: Windows Server Microsoft SQL VMware Powershell or scripting experience Video Conferencing VoIP systems
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequentbending, stooping or stretching. Requires frequent walking on various types of surfaces on adaily basis. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manualdexterity. Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols. Requires the use of officeequipment including but not limited to personal computers, telephones, and copiers and faxmachines. Requires normal vision, speech and hearing levels (or corrected to normal levels) andthe absence of color-blindness.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Primary duties will be performed in an office environment.May be exposed to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinalpreparations, inclement weather and other conditions common to a pre-hospital environment.Frequent contact with staff and customers.
