Responsibilities: - Performs a variety of complex assignments to become familiar with and understand the functions and responsibilities of Human Resources within Caterpillar. - Selected candidates enter into a three-year developmental program that enables them to move throughout a variety of assignments in Human Resources, thus gaining a broad knowledge base in Human Resources. - Candidates will move through three or more functional assignments. - The goal of this program is to provide a formal development process to enhance the flow of qualified Human Resource professionals and develop a pipeline of future Human Resource professional leaders. - Our Human Resource Associates are placed in a variety of HR specialties and locations. Professionals within the program must be willing to travel and relocate, possibly globally. Applicants will be considered for positions throughout the United States. Required Qualifications:- Currently attending a 4-year accredited university/college or have completed a minimum Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business with emphasis in HR coursework or Psychology degree with emphasis in HR coursework - Minimum 2.8/4.0 Cumulative GPA (no rounding) - Expected graduation date between May 2017 to June 2018- Willing to travel and relocate, possibly globallyDesired Qualifications:- Leadership experience - Previous Human Resources internship or work experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills an d decision quality - Collaborative team member with strong initiative - Excellent customer focus - Ability to maintain confidentiality Caterpillar is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment based non-immigrant and immigrant visas.
