Kforce Guidewire Business Analyst in Peoria, Illinois

A Kforce client is seeking a BA in Peoria, Illinois (IL), that is implementing the full suite for Guidewire. They are seeking a Guidewire Forms BA This position is specifically focused on forms integration to the system. Our client is moving from mainframe legacy systems to the full suite of Guidewire that today will include the following LOB: Claims, Policy Center and Billing so it is critical that this resource understand Guidewire and the integration of forms to this system.The Guidewire Forms Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for providing support for business applications as well as serving as the liaison between IT and their assigned business department(s). The BA is responsible for capturing and documenting relevant functional and non-function business procedures and processes, integration of the suites as well as project requirements specifically related to forms integration. The BA works with the business departments to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for business applications.Objectives:The Guidewire Forms Business Analyst will satisfy user support responsibilities by providing consultation on process analysis and design, recommending alternative solutions, both automated and manual, to meet those needs. They will act as liaison between Information Technology vendors and internal departments. They will work with departments, team members, and other resources to develop maintenance, testing, communication, and conversion plans for system changes following the change control process.

  • Minimum of 5 plus years' experience as Guidewire Business Analyst; They are specifically seeking someone specifically that has worked with Policy Center Integration and Smart Communication - Forms Experience-Smart Communications is highly desired but not required

  • As it relates to forms our client uses Thunderhead; This product experience and integration is highly desired but not required; HP Extreme or GMC Inspire would be acceptable, too

  • Candidates must understand forms behavior, XML path, GX model, and mapping to the GX model to XML

  • Ability to pay close attention to details when capturing and documenting business functions and requirements

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to actively listen and communicate effectively with IT peers and user community to deliver and support systems based on user needs

  • Critical thinking and reasoning skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems

  • Ability to support one or more areas of clients existing business system applications including but not limited to Claims, Commercial Lines, Property & Casualty & Billing

  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and business systems to be identified as part of client's future core applications toolset

  • Forms Integration (Smart Communication or Thunderhead background)
