Candidate Responsibilities

Candidate will focus on system software integration and testing.

Primary job responsibilities

  • develop automation scripts and matlab experience for system software development desired.

  • software build and integration, developing and testing test automation scripts using automation desk and hardware / software troubleshooting in cases where tests fail in order to narrow down source of error.

  • testing diesel engine control system and software.

  • work with software developers and system engineers to review and understand software functional requirements, utilize d-space test equipment to execute test, document results prior to flash file release for large engines

Major contributions to the work group include learning system understanding, testing new software supporting new product introduction. Validation includes creating and executing test plans, documentation, archival and review of results. Software development knowledge is desired as writing test scripts for automation is in scope of this position

Technical Skills

Must have proficiency in problem solving through software testing experience in embedded C language and model based software development through 4+ years of relevant work experience .

  • Must have work experience with CAN/SAE J1939, python and Matlab.

  • Prior work experience in diesel engine software is strongly desired.

  • Proven results in test optimization and automation

  • Trace 32 Debugger, CANalyzer, dSpace Test Systems, Matlab/Simulink, automation desk, GIT
