Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Pay: $17.00 per hour (non-negotiable, paid weekly on W2 basis) & OT = time and a half

Hours/Days: 8 hours shift between 7am and 7pm, Mon - Fri, On call & OT flexibility a must

Location: Will be assigned to primarily work in the Mossville client location but must be flexible to work the Peoria location as well

Job Duration: 18 - 24 month contract (open-ended)

General Job Description:

You will be providing Level 1 & Level 2 PC-based IT support for employees of our client's facilities in Mossville, IL and/or Peoria, IL

Performs trouble shooting, parts replacement, system upgrades and basic deployments & repair on Client Assets in campus/remote locations

Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact End User experience and follows through on action steps

Escalate to Desktop Support Site Lead on issues that impact a Client End User and/or entire operation at a given site

Serves as an entry point to develop technical and customer skills to grow into broader and more challenging field services roles

Basic installation and maintenance to technical products

Follows predefines procedures and tasks in everyday activities

Work is regularly reviewed by a more senior level technical specialist

Hiring Requirements:

Must be able to pass a technical screen via Skype

Must have the CompTIA A+ certification or be willing to obtain the certification on your own within 90 days of your first day (Apex can assist with discounts, training and a payment plan!)

Must be able to pass criminal background check investigation (no exceptions)

Must be able to pass a drug test (no exceptions)

Must have you own reliable transportation and valid DL as some site to site could be likely **Note: Apex with reimburse site to site driving for .53 cents per mile! *

This is an 18-24 month contract, and the hourly rate is $17.00 per hour.
