The Legal Entity Accountant role will be exposed to a variety of accounting functions and will accomplish a high level of compilation and basic analysis work, reviewing clerical input and generating reports. The accountant identifies relevant data and data sources, gathers and analyzes the information, and provides feedback.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
*Financial accounting including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
*Inventory accounting and standard cost revision
*Inter-company reconciliation and analysis
*Development and maintenance of internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control documentation
*Position will serve as the Service Charge Coordinator and Capital Coordinator
Possible areas of support could also include:
*Inventory Accounting & Plant Support
*Sales / Cost of Sales Accounting
*General Ledger / Legal Entity Reporting & Analysis
*Capital Assets Accounting
*Statutory GAAP, Tax accounting, General Accounting, and Tax & Trade Compliance (outside the U.S.)

*Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting; Non-Accounting degree requires 18 hours of core accounting courses or approved certification (CPA/CMA)
*Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA obtained within overall and accounting coursework
*2 years or less of accounting experience
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
*Previous accounting internship and/or work experience
*Strong leadership, initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills
*Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
*Professional certification (CPA or CMA)
