This job was posted by : For more information, please see: The Senior Parts Order Analyst is required to handle inquiries from North American dealers via phone and electronic communication (email, call tickets) regarding parts order status, estimated ship dates, stock and emergency backorders including some critical machine down backorders as part of Morton Customers Services Call Center. Must be able to interpret order requirements, network availability, systems information and situations causing backorders in resolving parts order exceptions and communicating order status and solutions. This position also instructs dealer personnel on changes to distribution practices and policies while fielding and responding to questions and/or concerns related to order and operational activities within the Cat Parts Network. Must be able to participate in a 24x7x365 team environment including off shift, weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled/shared across the team.Note: This is a 2nd Shift position located in Morton, IL. Hours for 2nd shift are 12:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m. Basic Requirements- Excellent keyboard and navigational skills- Strong writing, oral and phone etiquette skills to support/document/communicate situations and status to dealers and with internal contacts- Minimum of 3 years working in a team environment- Excellent attendance and punctuality Top Candidates Will Also Have- An Associates or Bachelor degree is desired- Strong analytical skills- Strong customer focus and positive attitude with attention to detail and timely follow up to customers (dealers and internal contacts)- Ability to multi-task, work with others in a team environment and work in a stress tolerant fashion- Good working knowledge of the parts systems such as ANTARES, Facility Logistics, Service Parts Management (DRP, SNC, EWM) and Engineering Data Systems is highly desired- Blueprint Reading Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
