Want to join this process-driven, results-oriented group?The Product Supply and Logistics Division currently has an opening for a Packaging Engineering Supervisor located in Morton. This role is accountable as a regional packaging supervisor leading approximately 4-7 engineers supporting multiple business units. This role will lead, design, and manage packaging design processes, internal stakeholder communications, service engagements, and develop new standards.Job Duties: This position will be responsible for leading a team of packaging engineers to develop returnable and expendable packaging for strategic, innovative, complex, and network wide projects and processes.Lead team engagement with internal and external stakeholders (procurement, manufacturing, logistics, etc.)Solve complex technical problems, work with cross-functional team members to develop processes and tools, as well as mentor, coach and share packaging design and process to global and regional team members. .Plays a key role in facility packaging strategy development, resource planning, and target settingEnsure compliance on global packaging processes and conduct packaging technology system to regional packaging groups. Leads team to develop standardized processes both internal and external partners in logisticsCommunicate and present solutions via regular updates to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business unitsWorks with other supply chain functional areas to continuously improve material flow plans, focusing on improving inventory record accuracy, waste reduction and increased throughput efficiency, increased velocity and increased inventory turnsSponsors efforts to identify and resolve business division supply chain constraints, which requires the ability to work across cross-functional areas and collaborate and negotiate complex solutionsResponsible for coaching, developing and mentoring direct reports Responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of direct reports, including development, capability building and succession planningBasic Qualifications:- Business or Technical Related 4 year degree- 5+ years of progressively responsible Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Packaging Engineering job experienceTop Candidates Will Also Have:- B.S.
