Want to join this process-driven, results-oriented group?The Product Support & Logistics Division currently has an opening for a Client Operations Assistant Manager located in our Morton, IL facility. As a Client Operations Assistant Manager at Caterpillar, you will manage a storeroom operation shift in the Morton Operations Region including responsibility for Safety, Engagement, Quality, Velocity, Productivity, and Cost performance, to provide World Class service to assigned dealers, internal customers, and direct-end users.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:* Responsible for engaging, training, developing and mentoring, all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates* Monitor and manage key performance criteria* Responsible for safety/environmental compliance* Accountable for performance of multiple "production" areas on off-shifts * Training and development for Management and Hourly employees* Improve customer/dealer/employee/company satisfaction Basic Qualifications: * 4 Year College/University degree* Previous experience with at least one of the following: material control, purchasing, parts distribution, and/or inventory control* Previous 6 Sigma and CPS experience* Previous EWM, FL, or other warehouse management system experience * Prior supervisory experienceTop Candidates Will Also Have: * Strong change management skills* Proven track record of driving results in a positive values based manner* Willingness to relocate* Willingness to work multiple shifts* Excellent leadership and analytical skills* Good human relations skills are needed to develop a cooperative working relationship with others, both inside and outside the departmentThis opening is for a second shift position.Caterpillar is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status; however, as a global company, Caterpillar offers many job opportunities outside of the U.S. which can be found through our employment website at www.caterpillar.com/careers Relocation assistance is available for this position.
